Attorney Tiffany Provence Earns Two Awards from the South Carolina Bar

We are excited to announce that Attorney Tiffany Provence was recently recognized with two prestigious honors from the South Carolina Bar! Attorney Provence is the proud recipient of the Solo and Small Firm Section Award and was also named to the South Carolina Supreme Court Honor Roll.

The Solo and Small Firm Section Award is given out each year to an attorney who displays exemplary skill and conduct in the practice of law. Eligible attorneys must have made significant contributions of their time and talent to the South Carolina Bar, local bar, and community, or devoted substantial time and effort to the education and training of fellow solo or small firm lawyers in South Carolina.

Attorney Provence was selected for the award based on her service to the legal community as the founder of My Legal BF. Attorney Provence created the My Legal BFF Facebook Community as a place for women in the legal profession to come together to offer support and share wisdom. Within a few months of its inception, more than 2,000 women joined My Legal BF.

In February, the South Carolina Supreme Court published its list of attorneys on the 2020 Pro Bono Honor Roll. This exclusive list recognizes outstanding attorneys in South Carolina who have volunteered for 50 hours or more of legal service in accordance with Rule 6.1.

Under Rule 6.1 of the South Carolina Rules of Professional Conduct, attorneys are encouraged to “provide professional services at no fee or at a reduced fee to persons of limited means or to public service or charitable groups or organizations and to engage in activities for improving the law, the legal system, or the legal profession.”

We ask that you please join us in congratulating Tiffany Provence for the stellar contributions she has made to the legal community, as well as the top-notch legal representation she constitutes to provide clients both in and out of the courtroom.
